These are the construction workers at the Frank Anthony school. They live in tents right there on the school grounds and their little children are running free as little beggars while the little rich kids are sitting in the sweltering class rooms watching the fun going on outside their classroom windows. Both sides are wishing they could be in the other's place.

ReplyDeleteI love these pics from the schools! Those kids in their uniforms are darling!! DARLING!
ReplyDeleteMom, you've been posting so much lately, I haven't been keeping up. I'm not used to you posting almost daily, it seems! But I'm sure glad you have been!
What a horrifying story of the baby who was passed out to the beggars to use, and to think they drug the babies! OH MY! I can't stand to hear those stories almost. It really is horrifying!
Mom, you look so beautiful in your saris!! It even looks like you are doing a little belly dancing in one of your pictures! :) I'm glad to see you aren't afraid to and enjoy embracing the Indian culture! That's fun!! Glad you are so much fun!!
The pics of the siblings tending each other make me sad! I just can't stand thinking about some of the things children endure there! But in a way I know some of them are happier than us spoiled Americans!
