You will see this picture again but I really want you to click on to it twice and make it big. Fred took this shot and I think it is so interesting. Make sure you scroll the whole thing so you get the full effect.

Our new found neighborhood basketball court has all the necessary extras. Our players can get their uniforms cleaned and ironed right across the fence from the the court. We have a Chinese fast food restaurant across the street and more food vendors just outside the gates. Also check out the handy urinal and changing room. And just in case some of the kids get roudy and tear down the basketball bankers, we have the welder just across the street. There's also the bicycle truck loaded with brooms and other cleaning supplies for keeping the court clean.

Fred was taking pictures of some of the sights around our new found basketball court. The first one should win a prize I think.

The second picture is of some ironers across the fence from the court. I think it is making them mad that we want to fix it up. They like to hang their wash and carpets on the court to dry. I don't think they're too hot on the idea of anybody using the park or the court for recreation.

This is the welders shop across from the basketball court. Notice the Chinese Fast Food place next to it. This is where I saw the cook first eating his dinner with his hands then licking them off both front and back before he started preparing food for customers. Also make this picture big and read the sign. I think they meant to write steamed rice but it says esteemed rice instead and look at the roof. There isn't any place to throw trash or store trash so it goes on the roof. This is a common sight.

We got so excited when we found this basketball court just across from our neighborhood market. We've gone to the housing association for help to get it back into condition and now the big wigs are really getting excited to fix it up. They are also going to have a big celebration at the park and invite the mayor of New Delhi and of course we will be inviting dignitaries from our side also.

This was a boy dusting the fannies on the manicuns. It just seemed funny at the time.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a party. The kids upstairs and their cousins came down and two member kids showed up and joined in also. It was the upstairs crew that planned the party and Dibit bought the cake. It was the best chocolate cake ever. A few weeks later we wanted to have some more of that delicious cake so Dibit walked us down about a mile and a half to the Amar Colony to buy another cake at this quite famous bakery shop. It had had a nice write up in the paper so that's why Dibit decided to buy the cake from there. Holy Moly, after we saw the bakery shop we were a little worried about eating that cake.

We see these little performers on the streets every time we take a rickshaw ride. Notice the hoop around the girl's neck (the one standing closest to the camera). They are so double jointed they can do all kinds of tricks with that hoop. Many carry their little drums and make music while another one performs. They do their art right out in the middle of traffic and then come up to get their pay. It's such a wonder. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it.

This turned out to be a funny picture. You can't really see but these are two little boys doing a tumbling act together.
