Combs, brushes, hair products and duster sales girls. Quite a colorful sight.

The color of this van just caught my eye. These guys were painting it with paint brushes inside and out. It's hard to see from the picture but this was a real rotting rust bucket. The paint was doing a pretty good job of camoflaging.

I finally got a picture of one of these little tin cage school buses pulled by a bicycle. I wish it would have been full of children. These are the cutest little school buses but unbelievably dangerous. They are right out among the cars and traffic.

This is quite a load for one motorcycle. Most people here only have one or two children.

Here we are the happy campers. It wasn't really that cold, but Fred wasn't taking any more chances after not having a coat when we went to the Himalaya's.

I sort of got carried away and put these pictures in in a strange order. The alligator we saw is at the bottom of this group. There's also a beautiful blue tailed bird and a vulture. We saw some excellent rock formations and the old fort on top the mountain is supposed to be the oldest one in India.

These were the safari jeeps we went on the mountain in. We had high hopes of seeing a tiger, but it wasn't our day to see one. Some of the our kids were lucky and saw two tigers. We saw an alligator. Which I will be putting on the blog next.

When we went to the YSA camp at Ranthambore, Rajastan, we weren't expecting such a delux camp. The tents were really nice but there wasn't room for us so we had to stay at a hotel several miles away. It was really nice.

Check out the sign at the reception area. The blue tank is the water heater for the kitchen which was out side. I only got one shot of the kitchen. It wasn't at all sanitary. They just don't seem to know what to do with their trash here in India. If they can't eat it, or burn it, it just gets thrown to the side somewhere. I hope we haven't picked up some dreaded parasites after eating there.

These monkeys were so tame you could almost pet them. Fred touched one of their tails and he got growled at. I liked these monkeys though. They seemed like a nicer sort that the monkeys we have in New Delhi.
