These sidewalk tents are homes for many thousands of the poor people here. One of my missionary friends said she had a chance to see inside one. She said the woman had it so neatly organized and it was obvious she was trying her best to make a home there. It makes me feel very spoiled sometimes to think that I have such a nice place to live. Take a close up look at the third picture. These fellows have worked very hard to put a roof over their heads.
