The lighting isn't very good on this picture but you can still tell what a pretty little girl this beggar is. I was taking the picture from the autorickshaw. My heart just goes out to these little children out on the streets. They are so dirty most of the time and barefooted running through the traffic. I wonder what is going to happen when the road gets blistering hot. It's so sad but we try to talk to them and we have made friends with some. Their eyes light up with recognition when they see us now. One little book seller jumped right in next to the driver and rode with us a long way to make the sale. We finally bought one of his books. We were getting so worried about him getting too far away from his selling spot. The little book saleman that reached in and shook my hand right after we got here still remembers and gets really excited when he sees us.
