We were at the Lodi shopping center the other day and this guard outside a bank agreed to let me take his picture. He insisted on stepping away from his place and posing for me. Check out his big gun. All jewelry stores, banks, and most national monuments have armed guards. Bigger, two isle grocery stores will have attendants at their doors. Sometimes you will have to check your other bags with him. Then once inside there will be another usher who will carry your basket and help you find whatever you need. They don't seem to like it if you try to get your own stuff.
