Every once in a while we see these little Welsh Ponies pulling their loads down the street. Now can you see why I'm having so much fun here. There are so many farm animals around that it sort of softens the reality of this huge city. I think of our little pony Becky every time I see one of the pony carts.

The other day we saw a mother goat with teets so long they were dragging on the ground. Poor thing. And a man with a full sized cart horse had unhitched him and was letting him graze right in one of our little neighborhood parks. I don't know how he had gotten that big horse through the turnstile. Maybe he jumped him over. There are no rules here about anything. We have a neighbor who calls himself Bob. Whenever we ask him if it's O.K. to do something, he'll always say, "Eveythings O.K., don't worry about anything. You can do anything you want. Nobody cares. Just do whatever." It's a crazy world out there. Fred summed it up pretty good and made me laugh when he said, "It's lawless as Hell here."

Sometimes I feel like we've been put into a people zoo., and someone is trying the ultimate experiment to see how the foreign animals will react and survive.
